Dutch Magazine Luister reviewed two of our recent releases, Piotr Beczala – Vincerò! and Handel – Concerti Grossi Op. 6 – part 2, and both achieved the maximum score of 10/10! Read a glimpse of the reviews below!
Vincerò!
“This album shows Piotr Beczala at the threshold of a new phase in his career, that of a lirico spinto. And guess what? He does it tremendously! He approaches roles such as Mario (Tosca), Maurizio (Adriana Lecouvreur) and Calaf (Turandot) less heroically than some of his colleagues, but shows that it’s not necessary at all. He interprets his heroes emotionally, not shying away for sentiment, but also never resorting to cheap means, showing how superior he is to many other tenors recording this repertoire, and especially to most tenors of today.”

Concerti Grossi Op. 6 – part 2
“This is the type of album that makes you fall in love with baroque music completely…. The ensemble plays with finesse and elegance, and at times also edgy, revealing their great enthusiasm…. The sound is beautiful and balanced, allowing the listener to experience the velvety richness of the gut strings.”
