We are proud to announce that our recording “Debussy & Schoenberg: Pelléas & Mélisande” performed by the Orchester de la Suisse Romande and conducted by Jonathan Nott has been awarded the prestigious German Record Critics Award for Orchestral music and concerts (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik).
“Concentrated on key passages and expanded by instrumental voices, the piece experiences a gripping concentration, especially as it is performed in a colorful way by the Orchester de la Suisse Romande and its music director. In this way, Debussy can come across Arnold Schönberg directly, which creates a unique horizon of experience.”
