Andreas Sieling studied organ and church music, as well as musicology, German language and literature, and media & communication. He has undertaken numerous concert tours to almost all the European countries, Russia, the USA, and Canada. He has made recordings for CD, as well as radio and television productions. Furthermore, he contributes to scholarly publications and edits the lesser-known 19thcentury Romantic music.

Since 1999, Andreas Sieling has taught “artistic organ-playing” as well as historical performance practice, organ literature, organ theory and methodology at the Berlin University of Arts, where he has been appointed professor. After being involved in church music in diff erent communities since the age of 14, Andreas Sieling was appointed cathedral organist of Berlin Cathedral’s grand Sauer organ in 2005. In addition, he is frequently invited as an organ expert to adjudicate at competitions.
